The origin of the Sorcerer's Kingdom in the primeval valley of Lake Uhtjärv

The Sorcerer managed to get away form the sleeping Uht. He had tried to drown the Uht but the thudding had woken the hero. The Sorcerer turned himself into a black ox and fled. However, he couldn't get very far as he noticed that a lake had formed as a result of his prank. He stopped here on the slope of the valley. He liked the place and created his kingdom here. As time passed, he kept on playing pranks: he drowned the church bells, hid the real name of the lake under the ball in the steeple, drowned a young couple who had been a brother and sister. Finally, he drowned also a black ox and played other tricks during the time when barons lived here. Centuries passed and the sorcerer turned into a benevolent creature. He is happy to welcome young and adult guests, treat them, tell them true sorcerer's stories, show something instructive, let them roam around his lands and forests, where they can find lots of interesting stuff. Come in summer or in winter and don't be afraid as he is not that evil sorcerer who wanted to drown the Uht, instead he has a significant role in the birth of Lake Uhtjärv.

1. Families with children, cultural and sports events
There is lots of fun and action here. This is a fitting place for summer holidays and weekends as the Sorcerer's Kingdom is an interesting, exciting and attractive place for children. The playgrounds, sports grounds, swings, a sandpit and the secret Sorcerer's trail make it a very child and family friendly place. (see hikes)

2.Institutions, companies, parties
For this group, we offer seminar facilities for 20 people. They can also hold their summer and winter days and other company events here. For that purpose, we offer accommodation in the buildings for smaller firms and a tent site for bigger companies. They can also use a barbecue hut, a sauna, sports grounds and playgrounds, a hiking trail and make trips to nearby sights, etc. This place is excellent for this kind of events as it is in a scenic place, it is interesting and remote enough not to disturb the neighbours.
